I don't wear dresses but I surely love these! I've been making a few of these paper dresses for my latest projects. I searched online for the easiest way to make these paper dresses, and I found one.
All you need is a circle template for you to draw a circle on the back of your pattern paper. You can use anything circle like a tin or a jar top, depending on how large you want the paper dress to be.
After drawing a circle, just draw those lines within the circle to form a shape of a dress! You can draw the straps or even make it a tube dress. Then, use a pair of scissors to cut along the lines. It's really simple. If you have a jumbo scallop punch, you can use the same method as well, and your paper dress will have scalloped top and hem.
I've used a red paper dress for my altered notebook last night. Isn't it gorgeous? Make one using white paper, vellum or paper doilies and you'll have a pretty bridal gown!
