I'm really tired, but feeling really motivated and inspired to craft today. I made a Halloween card for the first time! When I was active in swapping, I received a set of 15 Halloween rubber stamps from a really generous swapper. I've never used them before, so I decided to use them in my attempt to make a Halloween card.
Here's the Halloween card I made. I used 5 different stamps on this card; cobweb, Trick or Treat, Happy Halloween, Boo! and ghoul. Then, I used 3D foam adhesives to stick the stamped shapes onto the black card stock.
If you look closely, I used 2 ink colours on the word Boo! and Trick or Treat. If you'd like to try it yourself, make sure that you ink your stamps using the lighter colour before the darker colour. Here, I inked my stamp with red ink, before inking it with black ink. This is to avoid staining the lighter ink pad with the darker one.
Tip: It's important that you clean your rubber or clear stamps immediately after use. If you don't have the special cleaner for stamps, just use a clean cloth that's dampen with water. That should do the trick!
That's it for today. Happy crafting! :)
